what we do

We are a Brazilian organization joining forces with an international network of people dedicated to giving dignity to the oppressed, marginalized and undocumented in South Asia. Through these four areas:

BecauseWe do

The non-caste peoples of South Asia are in search of freedom.
We are with them!

People without castes (the untouchables) run 27 times more risk of being used in slave labor, prostitution and trafficking in organs!

It is estimated that 14.285.700 people are in slavery in India equivalent to 40% of the world's slaves.

Who we are

The Dignity Freedom Network (DFN) began in 2002 in India in response to appeals by leaders of marginalized and non-cast peoples. Concerned about the future of their children and women, due to their lack of access to the basic system of education, health, among others, and according to the caste social system in India, we were asked for three (3) requests: EDIT OUR CHILDREN - SAVE OUR FAMILIES - BE OUR VOICE.

O Dignity Freedom Network Brasil (DFN Brasil) is the official representative in Brazil and works in partnership with OMIF India in its quest for freedom, justice and human dignity. We seek to mobilize human, educational and financial resources to support the four main pillars of life transformation: Education, Health, Economic Development and Social Justice.

Our main partners are Operation Mercy India Foundation and the Confederation of Castes and Tribes Excluded from India. These long-standing partners in India form an extensive network of national workers who offer the experience and power to implement highly successful programs in these communities.
